Manetto Hill Jewish Center has adopted the cause of Gilad Shalit.  This Israeli soldier has been held captive by Hamas terrorists for more than four years.

          On December 13^th, the Israeli and Jewish Affairs Committee held a community rally where politicians, a group of Israelis visiting our community, and members from several synagogues in the area gathered at MHJC to raise our voices to free Gilad Shalit. While the rally is done, his plight continues, and so our efforts must continue as well.

          Please tell your friends and relatives about Gilad Shalit.  The committee has attached a short list of our Representatives for your convenience and has provided sample letters that you can download and fax, e-mail or mail to them.  You can e-mail them through their websites.
